Rosaria Di
Giovanna was born in Sicily and went to school in both Italy
and England. She has been an interpreter for various Police Forces
and the owner of an Italian restaurant in the Midlands
before founding the Italian Ventures Group, comprising of
Italian Days for Schools, Wine Tasting Events, crafts and
cookery lessons.
Italian Days for Schools was born from Rosaria’s passion for
all things Italian. She began by sharing her knowledge of
life in Italy with the children of her friends and family,
and then started accepting invitations from local schools to
give talks on life in Italy and cookery demonstrations.
Rosaria works closely with each liaison teacher to ensure
their Italian Day is suitable for the pupils’ ages and
abilities and links wherever possible to their school’s
scheme of work
